Welcome to The Study Simul ! Don't just play a game - learn !

My name is Viktor Gavrikov, I'm a GM and chess teacher.

The Study Simul is a weekly event which takes place on the playchess.com server on saturdays at 5pm server time.

Time setting is 30 min. with 5 seconds gain per move. After each simul I will give a training session for all participants by picking a game of the Simul and analyse it together with all participants in the training room. This will take about an additional half an hour, so that the event takes around 2 hours in total. You don't "only" play a game, you will actually learn too.

The entry fee for the event (Simul game and training session) is 3 EUR. You can pay via the ducats system on the server. If you manage to win, your prize will be: free entry for one of the next simul events !

Minimum number of games is 5. So if only 4 paying players like to participate there will be no Simul on that Saturday. First come first serve. Before the start of the Simul there is a short quiz. He who gives the correct answer first wins free entry to the Simul !
